The past comes and goes.
What remains?
Too fleeting to hold on to,
too confused to name.
I try to soften the edges,
fill in the colours,
bring it back to life.
I turn my head - right, left -
but nothing changes.
Only what was once forgotten remains,
waiting to be found again.
